This Female Mallard was carved by Cindy Presant from a mottled brown and yellow Brazilian soapstone. It is finished with 15-20 coats of pure Tung oil. The duck's bill has a natural vein of red in it, which I had seen while carving, but didn't know if it would show when the carving was finally complete. Its dimensions are 15cmx7.5cmx9cm. It weighs 1.1 kg.
