This Blue Racer is carved from Brazilian Soapstone by Artist Cindy Presant. Blue Racers are endangered in Canada, found only on Pelee Island in Ontario. They are a large non-venomous snake. This carving has numerous "cut-throughs"and the snake's body is continuous from the tail to the head.
